Thakur Anoop Singh i an Indian actor and body builder, he is best known for his role in TV Series Mahabharat in which he played the role of Dhritarashtra in 2013. Talking about his body building he he won a gold medal in 2015 in a contest in Bangkok, Thailand.

Thakur Anoop Singh was born on 23 March 1989, he is currently 30 years old. He was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is an Actor, Athlete, Pilot and Playback Singer.
During his childhood he was dreaming for becoming a pilot and fortunately he has achieved his first goal as at the age of 19 he earned his pilot license and started flying in the skies of India.
But the airline sector of India was highly affected by the worldwide recession at the point so he decided to do something else.
After quitting his pilot job he said “I just had to be sure that whatever I chose to do next, I needed to surrender myself to it and enjoy doing it.” – Thakur Anoop Singh
Television Career
He started his career in Television industry back in 2011 with series Dwarkadheesh – Bhagwaan Shree Krishn. He played the role of Prince Dushasana. He has done many famous tv series in his career till date including Jai Bajrangbali, CID, Ramayan and Mahabharat

Filmy Career
Till date Anoop has done around 8 movies in different languages such as tamil, telugu, hindi, marathi and malayalam.
He made his debut in film industry through a tamil film Si3 in 2007, in this movie he played Vittal Prasad. Suriya, Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan were in lead role in this movie. Later on he performed in a telugu film Winner which was an action drama film starring Sai Dharam Tej, Rakul Preet Singh, Jagapati Babu.
Commando 2 was his first bollywood hindi movie, this was an action film directed by Deven Bhojani starring Vidyut Jammwal and Adah Sharma as the lead roles.
